Or the fact that Teddy won’t have the same amount of talent around him which will make it difficult for him!

It’s hard to get excited when we have lost so many class players and not replaced them with anyone significant,just means Teddy will have to burn himself out to get us victories..

Who hasn't been replaced though?

- JWH... Leniu is his replacement (Va'a as well)

- Sua'ali'i & Manu (both of whom were a bit ordinary this year)...Young and Mark N... add Toia (high hopes) and Pauga (great find) to that list too

- Keary... Sandon and Townsend for this year

- Friend... Cheese and Watson

- Cordner... Crichton (or Steep if you're fixated on the bum chin)

- Cronk... Walker

- Rads, Whyte, Steep... we have quality players from our own systems who are performing already.

IMO we've transitioned quite well and have not lost THAT much talent. The pain in the bum right now is that Walker and Cheese are both injured. Thus it feels like we need a replacement in those positions but we simply don't because we've got them.

We won't really know how we've transitioned until we see how the untried talent goes out on the field. As we all know, there's a massive gap between NSW Cup and NRL and we will be relying on a lot of guys who haven't really been tested. The good thing for these young guys is they will get a full pre season to get used to their roles and they will be able to play without having the pressure of premiership favourites hanging over them. The last time we lost this amount of talent was probably 2016 and our season was derailed at the outset because our halfback was rubbed out for 8 weeks for a nothing incident. It's going to be a different feeling going into games hoping to win rather than being expected to win.

Teddy most likely comes down as our best signing
what he has done for several years is amazing

My posting style hasn't change I've always posted in this manner it's just that I get abused by half of the forum every time I post because they're offended by a light hearted screen name I created and because I call them out for being whingers where appropriate and for example 1 see the reply to your post ChookMaster, to see what I have to deal with every time I am on here even TheGman who is an administrator and supposed to keep standards around the place joins in with these unsolicited attacks. Anyone who doesn't like what I say should just put me ignore and get over it

Manu turns 31 in June 2027. He won’t have played a game of league for two full seasons (it could be argued four seasons), has only ever filled in at fullback and isn’t proven in that position week in, week out. A bit old to be learning new tricks I think. Ponga would be a better target for fullback as he’s younger, has more talent and actually has a go.
