That video is a red herring and some on here getting caught up on it to explain the May exit. The majority of the players in it are still at the club, with some even getting new contracts.
I think there's more logic/traction behind the idea that he refused to go to the end of year awards or whatever it was. That seems like something he'd do and is not a good look for culture. However, is it worth getting rid of a player for, especially such an impactful one? Id say no.
