A few that have re-signed that hadn't seen in the media like Toia ( maybe he was already) and Steep.

Strictly from an injury risk standpoint those extended contracts to Billy Smith and Lindsay Collins look like ticking timebombs waiting to blow up on the club.

Toby Rodwell signed until the end of 2028 indicates how high the Club rate him!

        Big future..

Is he a HFB or 5/8? We are in desperate need of a 5/8 (assuming Sammy stays long term).

He is an organising halfback and was picked at 7 for the Australian Schoolboys team.

Robbo will have a dilemma on on his hands once Toby is ready to go!

It will be a big dilemma
unfortunately we can’t keep them all and 1-2 may need to look elsewhere
              walker is a lock
sandon with get first crack at 6 (hard to tell if sandon is a 6 or more a utility 14
then rodwell and Elliot both at the heels coming up can see 1-2 heading off
foley is another decent half / hooker

We have a great junior base atm of guys between 18-22
the two big things will be
                1. developing them to first graders then genuine nrl guns
                2. retaining them

For sure mate. Long contract for a young guy. Seems
                  a highly rated prospect.

Collins will be running backwards by 2028.

No kid has been able to come into grade as a 20yr old and play as an organising half in the modern day game. Not even Nathan Cleary who is the unicorn of all modern day half backs.

Best thing for the kid will be to come in as a 6 next to Walker and just slowly build layers to his game. It's not like you need a creative five eight next to Walker anyway.

Theres so many natural 7s these days who come into grade, look good for half a dozen games and then just disappear, it's such a heavily scrutinized role. I was listening to Gus Gould talk about it last night and he said he thought the age of a organising half should be 25-35 and I think he's spot on. Anything earlier and you're still in your education years, same goes for Sammy Walker and I know you and I have spoken on this before, I would've loved to see him come through as a 6 and just play his natural game before maybe making the eventual switch to 7.

Rodwell could well be afforded the pathway that Walker should've been. I don't think it's a headache at all. The question who grabs the position out of Smith, Elliott and Rodwell.

I also believe this will be the best thing for him and also the team moving forward, playing next to Walker at 6 will allow him to slowly build his game..

He does have competition in Sandon Smith and Elliott for the No.6 role, but I just think he has that extra level based on what I’ve seen and heard about him so far..

                        Time will tell.

One of your best ! If he is not running backwards , he will be on the wing !

It's been updated again. Notable changes in Bold. Looks like Ioelu has moved in front of Moriarty.

Some of those may be development and the NRl site hasn't updated.
