How am I being dishonest if that's how I interpreted what you said?

Why would you bring Papenhuyzens age up in the first instance?

Out of curiosity is there any Roosters player that you do rate?

Posted this before but here it is - "This is the Roosters Way"

It's staggering just how many people refuse to accept that the club are using 2025 to develop young players that they rate highly the NRL journos have been saying it throughout the second half of the year that you won't see the Roosters make big name signings for 2025 because they're going in on youth.

Slater was the complete fullback and played alongside different players and under different rules which would've made Bellamy's approach dissimilar to last season so you can't compare them.

Paps is a rep quality fullback who would suit our style of play. We'd be mad not to consider signing him if he became available and at the right price!
Why would you want Papenhuyzen. Goes missing when his team is on the back foot and is prone to breaking down. Teddy at his oldest playing year will be better than Papenhuyzen in his prime

Teddy won't be around forever, besides we're just having fun and speculating with potential signings.

Fair enough. But surely there are better options than Paps? Would love to see Suaalii play fullback if he returns.

I think Suaalii would make a good fullback. Whenever he filled in at fullback he tore the opposition to shreds. Does Sam Walker's brother play fullback?

                    Rex Bassingwaithe does.

I think of this ad every time the name Rex is mentioned

I like Suaalii and hope he eventually comes back. Kinda thought Manu looked disinterested and wasn't giving 100% so I'm not too fussed on his return.

Great ad. One of the best ever.

Sua'ali'i would have killed it as a fullback if he stayed in our game but unfortunately for us he will be able to write his own cheque in union I don't think we'll ever see him in the NRL again (hope i'm wrong)

Vasco is right that whenever he filled in there he did well, he was one of if not the best ball runner at the club who ran it at 100 mile an hour he was a nightmare for the opposition to handle when he got space, he was good under the high ball but it's all the things that come with experience where guys like Tedesco are just in a whole class of their own like the ability to position himself in defence, organising a defence, reading an attacking play and popping up at the right time to take the ball, resdijg the weakness in an opposition defence when attacking their line, reading an opposition attack unfold and knowing when and what to anticipate coming next. JS had all the potential he just needed the experience and right guidance and nobody is better to learn from than Teddy. It's a real shame we've lost JS that kid has stardom written all over him wherever he goes.

My thoughts exactly. Suaalii has a tonne of potential, and isn’t pea-hearted (which is uncommon for these x-factor, so called “once in a generation” players). I hope he returns, he is a special player

Saw Dooner in some training photos the other day, he is massive. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a run on the wing potentially this year.
Regarding Dooner, I asked the question in the training thread if it was him in the yellow bib? Is that the player you saw?

If so, he has a touch of Turbo in him. Could be a goodun
