The Mole gets his info out of his arrse and usually after a few days of Movicol. He's a has-been.

in all seriousness though if we did sign him to replace May (ignoring $$$) would this be considered an Upgrade within the Pen ?
I read that, he said "The Roosters are probably interested too" which I don't believe for a second it's the classic play by the managers via the media to throw the Roosters in to a rumour to speed up negotiations. In fact this time it sounds like there is no interest from the club behind the scenes and just a "journalist" throwing a name out there because reasons.

As for Thompson's brother he only signed for 1 season at Newcastle I believe so he's free to go wherever Leo goes.

but he is a Raiders junior, so he might just want to come home.
I'd like to see him at the Raiders.
I think Canberra are going to be the big movers in 2025 they're are a tough gritty team.

I’m no familiar with him…didn’t he play for Balmain in the 70s?

Thomson just has a harder edge which I'd love to see Whyte develop.

Correct. It takes time for young players to develop as we all know. Look at Sandon Smith as an example, 30 games of NRL or so and still a big question mark over whether or not he'll be able to perform with Chad Townsend for the first half of the 2025 season.

Unless a player is particularly gifted I think the safest stance to take is minimum 2 years as a depth player before consistently playing first grade.

May had too much 'Rizz for Robbo.

Careful mate. They'll put you on suicide watch if you say anything negative about Robbo.

                            4 years at the Dogs.
                            Nice pickup for them
They look to be a top 4 side if they stay healthy.

They finally have a front rower
seems that way - they basically tore up their side and started from scratch again
few years ago they were a reserve grade side - credit to them
still think they are another prop and a good 7 short from being a real contender
