        Junee and Peard were a pretty decent set of halves. I noticed Bill Mullins listed in the 3rd grade team; one of my all time favs.

        I miss the days of real rugby league.

            I have posted two more games from 1968 in the classic chooks game thread. Geez Ron Saddler was such a great player.

              Lucky the game moved on to the professional era - the scrums were a dogs breakfast and the field was in a third rate condition most times and always a laugh when players had to find enough dirt to be able to create a mound for the goal kicker to attempt their goal kicks.

                Bruce Ayshford Rooster player # 591 in the Roosters 3rd grade side team list was a Uncle of Blake Ayshford who played for Wests Tigers /Sharks and Warriors - Blake played for Paddington-Woollahra Tigers and Coogee Ranwick Wombts.
