Thanks Salvo, you had a typo which is what confused me initially.

Mickie, I do tend to agree with you (I think my Broncos hating glasses were well and truly on when doing my selections )

However, I feel like the Broncos are a powder keg that could go either way. Madge is a known disciplinarian who pushes his players to the absolute limit to try and get the best out of them as individuals and the team as a whole. This works for him in the Origin setting over a short time period, but how it goes for the entirety of a season remains to be seen with Mascara Boy and Co.

There is no denying the Broncos have a stack of talent across the park, but they also have a stack of giant-sized egos and how they handle Madge's hard-edged approach remains to be seen. Personally, I would love to see it all go pear shaped and have Thoroughbreds inc. win the spoon (probably won't happen, but we can live in hope).

What Madge has in his favour is that every NRL player want's to win a comp. The majority of the squad haven't plus they've felt the pain of losing a grand final when it was more or less in the bag.

Motivating them shouldn't be an issue! His challenge is to develop a playing system that works for his team.

Those who predicted Manu to play for the Roosters again appear to be on the money.

Seeing lots of articles saying that a spot has been left open specifically for Manu. However yet to see a quote in any of these, which suggests that he is actually coming back.

                        Clickbait.

Doesn't mention he is coming back, worded to generate clicks.

Nearly every club has room left in the top 30, it's very common.
There is always players who get cut or want out of clubs, clubs waiting to see who they will promote into the last few spots of the top 30 depending on many factors like injuries, complete form slump and many other reasons.
It be great if he does return back but there is very little to say its happening, its all may, could or possibly worded media talk.

Manu has a 1 year option to play another season of Japanese Rugby in 2025/2026 and if he takes up the offer I understand he won't be able to come back to the NRL in 2025.

Not sure what the time frame is for Manu to make a decision on the extra year option as the Japanese Rugby Season Finishes in Mid May 2025 then finals finishing the last week of May

NRL have a deadline of June 30 (or the first working day thereafter if 30 June falls on a weekend) for all NRL Clubs to fill their 30 player roster.

Manu's Team Toyota Verblitz are currently 9th and 7 comp points behind the 4th place team - 11 matches to play - Top 4 play finals and the bottom 3 play a 2 leg promotion/relegation series against the relevant top 3 division two opponents.

If Manu has any chance of playing for the All Blacks he will have to sign with a NZ Super Rugby Team for 2026 - The Rugby World Cup is in 2027. - Manu is 29 in June 2025 so time is running out.

It could as Elvis Sung "It's Now or Never" for Manu.

Of course they all want to play for All Blacks but I believe that Manu was always intending to return to us and that’s why he never went to a Kiwi club. I am certain he will be back. His Japanese money has subsidised his league wage.

Imo Manu will struggle to make the All Blacks team.
