More than likely the value of a sporting team is based on the monetary value of the sport , the market and brand strength.
NY Yankees topped the MLB with a value of 7.1 billion USD
Manchester City - Tops the EPL with a value of 5.1 billion GBP
Dallas Cowboys - Tops the NFL with a value of 10.1 billion USD
So why are we affiliated with the Easts Group?
Where did the money come from to buy the assets that you have listed above?
Where do the profits from these assets go?
Would these assets add value if the Roosters were floated on the stock exchange?
Are Souffs affiliated with any groups that have assets?Last edited by Bates; 01-11-2025, 07:12 PM.

- Retail shops: The Roosters own retail shops in Bondi Junction
- Service station: The Roosters own a service station in Lithgow
- Medical/dental center: The Roosters own a medical/dental center in Bondi Junction
- Unit block: The Roosters own a unit block in Kingsford where their academy players are based

Great we have an expert in this field.
So why are we affiliated with the Easts Group? - The Easts Group is the parent company with a controlling interest in the associated or affiliated entities operations - i.e Easts Leagues , Berkely, Kingswood , Waverley, Sydney Roosters plus other assets owned by the Easts Group i.e properties and apartments etc.
Where did the money come from to buy the assets that you have listed above? - After Tax Profits from the operations of the associated or affiliated entities operations /Bank loans (Borrowings) if required.
Where do the profits from these assets go? - I assume you mean after tax profits - bank account and to fund the operations of the associated and affiliated entities operations if and when required.
Would these assets add value if the Roosters were floated on the stock exchange?, - No - The Sydney Roosters are an associated /affiliated entity of the Easts Group and don't own any assets- These are owned by the Easts Group as the parent company - The Sydney Roosters/Central Coast Roosters football operations funding comes from NRL Grants/ Merchandise/Memberships/ Sponsorships/funds from Season tickets and crowd attendances and any additional funding requirements providing by the East Group.
The value of the Sydney Roosters would be based on the monetary value of the sport , the market and brand strength.
Are Souffs affiliated with any groups that have assets? - Souths have a 100% private ownership model and generate their revenue for their football operations from NRL Grants/ Merchandise/Memberships/ Sponsorships/funds from Season tickets and crowd attendances plus any funding the owners put in if and when required - Souths Juniors I understand funds the Souths junior league and junior reps.

I’m happy to see the thread due to R6 and Salvos input has got away from being vermin related to become Roosters related and I think I’ve learnt something from Salvo about the clubs structural operation systemLast edited by Andrew Walker; 01-12-2025, 09:57 AM.When you trust your television

You're last paragraph is what interests me. You'd only buy a stake in Souffs if you were a wealthy megalomaniac who supports them as there is no financial return. Their brand may generate x amount per annum however this is what pay's for their football operations.
Anyways the phone chucker has denied the above rumour and has called it "bullshit"
