Yeah I've never had any dramas with it down ~20 mins south of Batemans Bay.

My uncle lives off the grid in the Deua Valley and drinks untreated tank water which he swears by (from an old tank where dead possums/mice add to the flavour...apparently). However our house has proper treated water. No complaints.

TBH it's Brisbane where the water tastes like shyte. Went there a couple of weeks ago and it's apparently safe but tastes all earthie (apparently due to floods or something). IDK. I put it down to there being something in the water up there... isn't Ezra Mam's fault he's a gronk. It's the water

Right now I'm in Vietnam and drink bottled water as the tap water has high quantities of arsenic and e. coli. While living in a ~1940's house in rural Japan I also used bottled water as the house used well water... dunno the contents but it was very hard to the point where soap wouldn't lather in it. It would leave me in the toilet with my stomach blown up like a balloon (with excruciating pain) if I drank it.

Other than the two examples (where the water's either too hard or contains arsenic) plus my uncle's off-grid setup... I avoid bottled water where possible. Would say Eurobodalla's 100% okay.

Sounds like you need a trip to Bateman's Bay

I heard Mick Weyman has a house there still. Though, my understanding is that Flea sold his house a few years back?

A habit that I had 37 years ago is not in the same league as having a big night on the pen & ink with a bit of nose candy with 12 other people aged 55 to 62, all of them have full time employment all home owners with good bank accounts.
My mates place in Woollahra where we had dinner, drinks, nose candy & listened to some mad music till 4am is unreal for a get together.
I hope you enjoyed your night to mate.

I'm willing to bet not only does he know what goes on in social circles but he knows how deep it goes and it's the average fan who doesn't know just how deep organised crime runs in rugby league at the NRL and grass roots level and just in Australian sport in general.

Stuff that's public knowledge: 2009 Roosters players regularly galavanting with organised crime associates, Jarryd Hayne and the bikies, Phil Rothfield and Fast Eddie, Penrith players and their association to postcode gangs in western sydney, John Tobin and the cocaine ring, the emergence of post try gang sign celebrations, that's just off the top of my head late at night.

Then there's a lot if you know you know signs, some of these players are so stupid they put references in their post game interviews, social media posts, clothes they wear etc some of it brazen, some of it on the sly, the average fan isn't catching it but it's there if you know what to look for. Players are easy targets especially the western sydney ones, coke is rife in the game where do you think it comes from? Nick knows, every club knows that's why you get some promising young players get cut out of the blue and nobody can work out why (not a Terrell May suggestion)

Glad you had a good night. Not sure why you needed the nose candy to contribute to it though? Peer pressure maybe? Don’t let them get to ya bud. Be the stronger human!

Can’t wait for the season to start. I don’t reckon we will go as bad as many here are predicting.

I’m my own man mate, I do things because I want to not because others are doing it.
                        I respect your stance.
It works well when you’re having a big night on the drink & it works well in the cot.
For the Chooks to be a 5th to 8th best team this year we need to stay healthy & we need Townsend to be playing his best football. Injuries to key players will be the killer.

Of course you do things your way. I’m all for people doing things of their own accord. I’m just struggling to understand that choice.

You are a family man as I am and I couldn’t ever put my family at risk for such a choice. I’m far from perfect but I draw the line on certain things. Things that could harm my family are a pretty easy no for me.

Injuries are always a major factor in every clubs chances. The riff have had their fair share to star players as well over the past few years but still enjoy success. We need to find a way to best manage our setbacks and turn them into positive outcomes.

                            Each to their own
I admire that you are a clean skin when it comes to D&A
No disrespect Renty but I would say you & maybe 1 or 2 others on here have your beliefs on drugs & alcohol but the others on here have all done what I did on Friday night especially the drink.
Obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol which I have none of but I believe you would have at least 2 of those conditions are also putting your family at risk with your lifestyle choices.

Penrith have been lucky with injuries they have managed to have their top team on the paddock for most of the year. The Chooks were going along beautifully until the Canberra game, we could have won the thing last year if our top team were all fit IMO.
Anyway mate I’m off to Yarra Bay today with the missus & the dog to have a swim eat some nice food have a few beers & celebrate Australia Day
                            Enjoy your day

Agreed. He and Bouris would know Sydney (and the NRL's) social scene more than most I dare say.

Those who want to celebrate the Bra Boys and friends can quietly cross ANZAC Parade, swing by their favourite brothel and then pitch a tent as Redfern Oval.

I've never taken drugs ever and drink alcohol only rarely. Still I don’t judge those who do and don’t claim to be perfect. I’m a pretty boring person in general lol. But I do like my food and too much chocolate and carbs are not great for you either. I do think though when a player is caught causing an accident whilst driving a vehicle unlicensed and on drugs he really should be sacked, especially when it’s not the first time he’s had his licence suspended. I also think when you’re employed as an athlete you should really be looking after your body and not doing drugs.
