I personally think JWH will be missed as much as Cords, Cronk, and Freddy. Our win/loss ratio with him in the 17 compared to when he was out, was telling in itself.

More realistically, I think 2025 is going to be the making of Gus Crichton.

He is already very very good, and in the top 5 best second rowers in the comp.

But if you look closely, it was him who was bringing the intimidation factor and the mongrel to the pack all year alongside JWH.

Collins was a pillow. Spencer went missing too often.

He is more important than anyone else in our pack imo. If we make it into the business end in 2025 it'll be on the back of his leadership, guts, and willingness to go the extra mile.

Watch.some of last year's games. Spencer was raring to go and running like a mad man only for our hooker to pass it to the wrong player, wrong side or drop the ball. Give him better service and he will run through a lot of people.

I was thinking this also. Rads was the consummate professional last year, I hope he "doesn't feel the need to do it all himself again and revert to psycho mode.

In the absence of a real physical enforcer, would be great to see us develop a real mongrel pack mentality where everyone lifts their physicality..
