I'm his greatest fan but I think JWH stayed a year too many. He wasn't near his best form or minutes on field. But in many games he still looked more likely than the rest of the forwards. They need to lift when he isn't there. Im not sure who will lead them this year. I think Lindsay Collins is a different style of player and probably not a leader. Radley has the drive but probably cant lead them from back row

It will be interesting how the referees rule our games with six new faces. Hoping for best from the game managers but expecting the same.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

JWH will be back in 2026 and joining the following Roosters Premiership winners in an off field role of some sort. - Academy/Junior Reps/Senior Reps/NRL etc
Luke Ricketson - Director Easts Group/Sydney Roosters
Mitchell Aubusson - Director of Football
Boyd Cordner - Assistant Coach / SG Ball Head Coach
Jake Friend - Head Coach of the Sydney Roosters Academy
Brett Morris - Assistant Coach / NSW Cup Head Coach
Cooper Cronk - Halves Consultant
Anthony Minichiello is probably too busy for an off field coaching role - currently is listed as being a Sydney Roosters Ambassador, Keynote Speaker /Owner and Operator of MiniFit/ Changeroom Mentor and Ambassador for Lexus.
Is there anyone else that can be roped in for an off field coaching role from past Roosters Premiership Teams - FPN ? / SKD ? / Freddy would be too busy with Channel 9 / Morley would be too busy with his ESL commitments / Maloney ? / Pearce ?

So he might not be far off getting a role back in Sydney

Like I’ve said many times Robbo is the Roosters & Nick is in awe of him.

Filling all those roles in a "job for the boys" kind of thing?
I haven't got a major issue with great club stalwarts filling those roles but how has that transferred over to on field performance last few years?
Uncle Nick is probably starting to realise Robbo's aura is on borrowed time if he can't get the best out of the team anymore.

It sounds all nice & fuzzy but why do all club roles need to be filled by former Roosters.
Shouldn't it be the best qualified man/women in that role.& not a "job for the boys " type role.
There's plenty of smarr successful people out there who aren't former players.

Having champion ex players of the club involved is a culture of spirit.
For too long the Chooks were a club where players who played there weren’t Roosters people after they left.
How has that transferred onto the field?
By being a top 8 mostly top 4 side.
The Chooks were extremely unlucky last year & they’ve been unlucky the last few years before that as well.
Robbo on borrowed time, please.
Robbo will make the call on when he finishes not Nick
