Probably more to do in how we managed our cap during the destiny years, get less then, and get it evened out when you retire.

So players are paid unders during their careers, and also promised key roles at the club after they've retired to make up for it. Not ambassadorial type roles, but key roles like Director of Football and high level coaching roles. And that is honestly how you think the club is run?

I agree with this entirely. Robbo has his faults like the rest of us, but I think he is the best coach we’ve have in my 58 years as well. Gibson was very good, but he wasn’t here long enough to build a lasting club culture.

How do our faults compare to Robbo's?

Don't know about anyone else but I dont get warm & fuzzy about back office/ boardroom/ culture goings on .

Where do I go find these things so i can see for myself how great they are & to experience.

There wasn't any ' club culture ' on display in last year's semi final campaign. That prelim display was HORRIFIC..............

Anyway, it is a new season. Happy to see what unfolds over the initial 10 to 12 weeks before commenting or getting hysterical. Just hope we have ruthless defense and are in ' all ' games.

I think the Roosters Moriarty will start to feel negative waves aswell this year collecting dust in reserve grade. The name is apropos.

I think that's what celebrates the realists (some say negative) on this forum, with the blind faith mob, where no questioning of anything is accepted. It is always a utopia and anyone not buying in is not a committed fan. That main difference being happy to be proven wrong and admitting when wrong. The other difference is thinking losing a prelim by 40+ points and not laying a glove on the 4 peat premiers over a half a decade of fixtures is something we should be proud and accepting of.

But at the end of the day, we all want the Roosters to do well no matter the attitude we have towards eachother and other things.

This is Robinson’s greatest challenge to get the best out of this team . He has had some unbelievable talent before but we have been under achieving the last 5 years to a major degree let’s see what he can deliver and if not maybe his time is up and he should move on. My worry is he is too comfortable with Nicks support but he just has to deliver.
