  • Anzac Day tickets

I got my tickets today and noticed how much the prices increased compared to last year.. I sit behind the goalposts, and it was always classed as category 4. Last year I'm pretty sure they were $50 and concession $35 minus 10%-member discount.
This year they are category 3 and are $80 and concession $65.

Quite a big increase in prices year on your, especially since the stadium was rebuilt.

Everything costs more at the new stadium. I saw tickets in eastern stand are $130. Prices may be higher for Anzac Day because it's a guaranteed sell out. These prices make ticketed membership look good

Will be even more demand for tickets given businesses are no longer allowed to trade on Anzac day.

Wouldn't be surprised if the price hike is a reflection of that.

Within 5 years the ANZAC clash will no longer be included with season tickets.

already this year they’ve demanded all season ticket holders redeem their ticket for the day so they can sell your seat if you don’t confirm. Once everyone is comfy with they they’ll start making us pay more for that game each year

I’m pretty sure I paid $80 last year for a family pass behind the posts.

I find the club's decision to make us redeem a ticket that we have already paid for disgraceful.

But what's even worse is that if you don't redeem the ticket for the seat you have paid for they are going to sell it!

I've been a season ticket holder since 1992. I used to sit in bay 13 on the halfway line. When they new stadium was finished I didn't get my seats back, they were given to Corporates.

It pains me to say it but the club doesn't care about its members and it seems the more members we gain the worse they treat us.

What isn't a rip off these days. Going to the footy is a luxury.

The beauty about the new stadium for me is. I just buy the cheapest ticket, and wander between the 20m lines following the play with a great standing room view, it obviously doesn’t suit everyone, but I enjoy it, especially if I go to the game on my own.

cheapest adult ticket available at the moment on tickettek is $110 and cheapest junior ticket is $85.

but Anzac Day is a fabulous day at the ground, and probably priced accordingly.

still a far cry from American sports, cheapest ticket I bought over there last year was $150 for a regular season college football match at Rutgers, every other game (NFL,NHL)was $200 minimum for regular season games and not the greatest seat.

                      Agree with you mate.

I urge all members to email the club and express their disapproval!

I think you might be right, but I don't understand why. Since the new stadium was built the attendance numbers have skyrocketed, the member numbers have increased and the NRL grants have also increased.

The only reason the prices keep going up and we are getting less is because they can!!

I think Roosters set prices for their games. Govt charge them rent. Food/drink profit goes to caterers who pay Govt a fee

I was wondering what the Roosters make out of gate takings and concessions ? - Souths were complaining that it cost them 1 million dollars in gate takings in not being able to host a last round game vs the Roosters in 2023 at Alliance instead of Accord.
