What are our thoughts on this? I feel like a lot of people saw this coming if it eventuates. I'll be honest, he is one of my favorite ever Roosters but he was rank average by his standards the last 12-18 months. Looked completely checked out last year. What does this mean for our backline aswell? Someone like a Toia or Smith will miss out.
Don’t stress over Smith he will never get on the park anyway. Besides who cares about blokes that aren’t good enough, you always want the best playing & Manu at his worst is 10x the player Smith is at his best.

Billy won’t get on the park, so no need to worry about that pipe dream.

        No it isn't.

I don't hold high hopes for Billy either. Moreso Toia.

I was skeptical about Mark N but he looks bloody huge.

Agree to disagree on this one.

                Bloody oath!
I know it’s a different sport but this is impressive.

I've been watching highlights of Manus games on the Japanese rugby web page. He has scored some good tries but doesn't get much ball: very dangerous when he does. The forward pack he is playing with are pretty ordinary. Poor defence, set piece and discipline. Has to be the worst team he has ever played in. He can't be very happy unless he really did just go for a holiday and cash. Hès unlikely to have attracted any All-Blacks attention.

To get selected for the All Blacks you have to play Super Rugby so he is no chance under current circumstances.
