Accept that this season is a real rebuilding year, sorting out which young players to keep, and not keep...and all your worries will disappear.
We wasted time and money on Suaalii, and now he's gone.
Very disappointing.
We need to make sure we never do that sort of thing again.
Every game this season will basically be a trial...a rehearsal for 2026.
2025 could well test the resolve of our fans.
Hope they pass the loyalty/fair weather test.

I don't really wish to get involved or take sides but one thing I'll say.

Calling anybody that is constructively critical of the club a "death rider" or a fairweather fan is a myopic and lazy argument that has no substance.

Why the farrk would someone who doesn't actively support the Roosters take time out of their day to articulate their concerns about the club on a footy forum? Conversely, why the farrk do people react with such vitriol when differing opinions are offered on a footy forum, which is the literal intended purpose of a forum.

If one is comfortable in their level of commitment as a Roosters fan, they don't need to call others out on theirs.

We finished 3rd in season 2024.
Not even coach of the year Bellamy could win the comp in 2024.
Coach Robbo would have a much better chance of winning another comp if many of his best players would stop leaving every year.

The only thing is Bondi Boy...is that Storm & Panthers have lost a stack of class players regularly the last few years & still are streets ahead.

The Roosters have largely kept the same squad last 3yrs....& still can't bridge the gap.

What Storm have done post Cam, Billy, Cooper has been incredibly impressive. Panthers to play in 5 consecutive Gfs and win 4, is otherworldly. Great clubs… but **** them, they ain’t the Roosters and I (we) follow the RWB.

Both seem high on the "teachers pet" list...while we get the circus music and streamers.
Panthers scored their first try in the GF on the 10th tackle.
2025...we now play without Manu, JWH, Keary, Suaalii.

Injuries happen - Ronald Acuna Jr has had over 30 injuries including 3 ACL's (2024 the latest) these past 6 years and has missed over 320 games as a result.

Just looked like his knee collapsed.
