Kinda agree... particularly when we might not have the best season ourselves.

        Yeah nah.

I don't like to see any player getting injured especially long term. You can see the effect it has on them. We have copped plenty since 2019 and you have to feel for the players.

Other than possibly the OP, who has been 'cheering' the injuries in this thread?

Murray is a good bloke, and though I'll never forgive him for putting Joey Manu in hospital, I retain some great memories of Latrell in the red, white and blue (which is still where he has spent the most time on the field - by a long way).

I wish them both a swift recovery, but in the meantime, fark the Vermin.

While the fans get up each other, the players mostly get on... Murray was at Victors engagement recently I believe... I don't like the way Murray surrenders in tackles to get the quick play the balls away which he is lauded for, but he seems like a great guy.

Souffs have copped it pretty badly when it comes to injuries the last few years.. honestly you gotta feel for them. The league is at its best when both roosters and the bunnies are firing.

                  Swift recovery for both.

Yeah...nah I hate the Rabbits as much as anyone.

But I can't hold any ill feeling towards Murray.

A brilliant player, who seems like a really decent bloke and tries his guts out.

Hope he recovers quickly as his career must surely be in the balance now given how many head knocks and general injuries he has had.

Karma for Latrell. That getting photographed snorting some blow & getting a 1 week suspension & all the carry on that he should be allowed to serve the suspension while he was injured last year has come back to bite him.
Latrell will be fit for the Roosters game I bet.
                      I feel for Murray.

All that conniving to get his suspension served on the All Stars game so that he'd be ready to go in the NRL for Round 1 ...was all for nothing !

No way, I could never show them any sympathy.

We've copped more than our fair share of injuries in the last 3 or 4 seasons.

Yeah I'm not gonna celebrate injuries or wish for people to get hurt.

However equally... I'm not gonna go feeling sorry for Souffs. They have enough depth and a 'Super Coach TM' (albeit a somewhat mummified Super Coach TM). We're the team that's missing half our spine and has lost a stack of quality players. Souffs are missing two people... sorry but boo hoo. Use yer grubby hi-vis if you need a tissue.

Oh and something something... it's a little bit ironic that Ezra Mam and Latrell Mitchell are both gonna spend at least the first 8 rounds handing out oranges. Karma boys... karma

Fair enough. Each to their own I suppose.

And yeah we have, I told my mate who supports the bunnies that, us rooster fans know the pain all too well.

I think I saw a stat the other day.. the last time the bunnies fielded a full strength 17 was the start of finals 2022, something like 23 major injuries since the start of 2024

I never thought I'd say this about a South captain and gun player, but I'm a big fan of Cam Murray. Extremely talented and has a V8 motor- he would look great in red, white, and blue
