  • Francis Molo

Looks like he is about to get released from the Dragons to seek an opportunity somewhere else. What do we think? Before the trials I thought we cant keep buying players as the young guys will get annoyed and look elsewhere for a better path to first grade, but seeing the way way Wong and D Va'a played on the weekend, they will not put any pressure Robbo to select them. I know D Va'a is young but he is nowhere near ready for tough agressive first grade week in and week out, lazy like Whyte in defence. I though Wong looked slow and flat last week, no leg drive just lumbered into the defence and died with the ball. I think Molo is the closeset available prop to JWH, agressive and tough, runs hard....

Rumour is that Dragons and Tigers will do a swap between Klemmer and Molo although it's been housed down by the Tigers - Dogs and Parra also in the Mix I hear and possibly Souths since Murray's done his Achilles.

Do you want a player that refused to go to training after being denied a released request on a couple of occasions (apparently took exception to a comment made by a staffer) - Molo been given permission to talk to other clubs but any move will need to be approved by the Dragons who want "adequate" compensated - money or a player in return . - Apparently on 575k at the Dragons

As a player he fits the direction it feels like we are headed in but Id be a little worried about his refusal to train. If the powers that be determine his attitude is ok and he was justified in refusing to train then I think it would be a good signing.

I reckon he will end up at Souths or Cowboys

While we lacked go forward on the weekend, this year I'm prepared to let the kids have 1st crack - it will pay off in the long term.

The no dickheads policy ensures that we won’t be signing him

Straight swap for N Butcher could work well for both clubs.

That is a fallacy. Zane Tetevano nearly went to prison for repeatedly bashing his girlfriend. Matt Lodge was also convicted.

                      It was just a trial.
D Va'a, Wong, Whyte were just going thru the motions, easing into the season.
We're a JWH style prop short, and I believe we will suffer as a result.
Molo is not the answer though.

Nat is one of the best defenders in the NRL.

Interesting! From a purely football prospective he would be handy pick up. As others have mentioned though, he has been found guilty of domestic abuse. Uncle Nick has said we now have zero tolerance to illicit substance abuse. Do we also need a position statement on domestic violence for recruitment and retention.?

We have an abundance of back rowers!

You'd like a JWH style Prop. Shane Flanagan is open to a player swap and N Butcher could be someone he's interested in.

Would we miss Nat? imo No.

100% - The hate for Nat on here is unwarranted.
