Genuine question. Why do you dislike Spencer so much? In this instance, I agree he shouldn't be in the leadership group given he's played no more than half a year of footy with us and hasn't been consistent during that time. But beyond that it seems like you just don't like him full stop lol

Spence being in the leadership group is to stop him doing dumb shit on the field.

Didn't work for Jazz, and so far has not worked for spence as well

I expect big things from Spencer this year. Good coin. Part of the leadership group.

I couldn't imagine Politis will be too positive about the rebuild if teams consistantly run up cricket scores against us.

        Interesting year for sure.

He was showing top level leadership by denying it happened then finally admitting it with the caveat of "I didn't know it was racist" what a leader.

I can cop guys like JWH and Radley in leadership groups because their stupid stuff on field is mostly them playing the game 100 mile an hour and getting it wrong in split seconds it was never anything like Spencer in his first game for us not only did he tarnish the club's reputation he stained the NRL on a global level only 12 months ago.

Lindsay was awesome up until end of 2023. I try and reserve judgement on him as I think he's been bashed around and had a few too many head knocks and naturally regressed a little bit. As I'm a fan and haven't been KOd ad nauseum, I don't think it's fair for me to question his heart and his form at the minute. Hopefully he bounces back.
Cool - which premiership winning, Origin props are on 'much less'?

Spencer must be highly respected among the playing group .
You want your enforcers to be leaders and hopefully he pays back Robbos faith show in him this season.

Which premiership winning origin props are only good for the first 10 minutes coming off the bench? They're all starters except for Spencer

It's sad how Spencer has played his best footy under Michael Maguire. Robbo needs to find a way to get him fired up and play like he did for NSW. Ditto the way Collins plays for QLD.

The ability is obviously there! It's just a matter of unleashing it.

Lindsay Smith would be on far less. Penriff thought it was good business to keep him over Spencer.

I like Spencer but he is not worth 825k. That's well overs.

On a global level 0.000000000000000000000000000001% would know about the incident.

Big difference between firing up for a couple of games every year and going for 30games straight.

I think it's an illogical expectation.

He wouldnt have been picked to play for Madge if he wasn't playing good football under Robbo.

Leniu firing up for the odd Roosters game would be nice. So far his output doesn't reflect the big chunk of the salary cap he's consuming. Cordner had no problems playing consistently well for both the Roosters and NSW.

Still made headlines in mainstream American media. We took our game there and the only thing the very few yanks who would've actually watched it got was a racism scandal.
