He has never been a meter eater, but is anyone else concerned that over the last 12 months he has been getting dominated in every single tackle.
    Zero leg drive

Some of his runs yesterday were Chris Beattie esque

Before he did his ACL he was a beast. Now he's easy pickings for the defence.

I was thinking Martin Lang. Lots of ticker but no footwork = career suicide.

          Dancing Dallas Hood.

Obviously I have no proof of this, but sometimes I reckon Robinson demands players play within themselves. Robbo is a Brian Smith clone, so anything is possible. I don't think he is a fan of that wild man possessed run straight into the opposition - maybe he has an algorithm that shows the risk is greater than the reward.

The Chook Pen is going to be brillant this year.

He is a shadow of his former self, moving on Terrell May doesn't sound like a sensible choice.

              Victor wasn't much better.

Makes the May decision much worse

Victor needs to be playing lock.

I wonder if the headknocks have taken their toll on Lindsay's confidence in hitting the ball up ?

I agree, but I thought his defense wasn't like we have come to expect. He seemed to fall off a few tackles and lacked his usual grit, it might be just first hit out.

He might have issues with defending laterally. He's better suited defending the bigger but slower guys up the middle.

Sometimes tall props seem to be easier to tackle as the defenders can get under the ball or around their legs easier. Nelson seems to be the exception. Lindsay has speed in the open but doesn't seem to have speed or power going into the tackle on most hit ups. He needs to alter his body position. Although he was pretty big JWH was more compact and was hard to hit without getting an elbow knee or hip. I prefer props built more like Spencer but even he doesn't seem to have as much impact as the first half of last year. Most of our pack have less impact without JWH so every one of them is hitting it up off the back foot rather than getting a lift from the previous hitup.
