JWH did his ACL in the back end of 2015 and he didn't get anywhere near back to his best until the 2018 season. I know that ACL injuries take a long time to recover from mentally but it must be harder for these guys who are well over 6 foot tall and 100+kg

I like what I have seen of Losalu in cup and in the trial. He always seems to make meters

Right so QLD & Australia just select him for no reason and he's actually shyte?

no one here is saying he is shit, he does a lot of clean-up work.

If you actually cared to read the responses, everyone is concerned as he has lost the impact in making meters he had at the start of his career - which is poor timing when we need front rowers more than ever.

In rep teams there are 16x other players to cover for him in this regard, we no longer have that luxury at the Roosters

Jared even as he got older still had that shimmy at the line that meant sometimes he would be on his feet playing the ball before the markers were set. Lindsay is an old fashioned "lumbering" front rower, which doesn't really work anymore.
Your right, it doesn't work, he needs to develop it now or risk falling behind the game. He is on a long term deal too which isn't great for us if he doesn't improve his carries.

Who said he was shit? Defensively and his effort plays are top notch. He just isn't effective in attack and in creating ruck speed. Late in games, when fatigue sets in, his straight, direct running style may get a quick play the ball here or there but for the rest of it he is just an easy target who gets put on his back.

Ask yourself this question. If Collins left the club how disappointed would you be?

I’m sick of seeing our ‘enforcer’ get smashed almost every time he runs the ball.

Then he would be coming back to the place where he didn't improve. So you won't get the Sharks Tuku Hau Taphua, but instead the Roosters version.

I dunno if the word shyte was used, but I did see claims that he gets 'dominated every time' he runs the ball.

He's a current Kangaroos and QLD rep on merit. Let that sink in for a bit. Is he or is he not a high quality front rower who is one of the ~top-5 on his day?

Right so the QLD and Kangaroos selectors actively pick one guy in their team who can be carried by the other 16? (Rather than picking the best of the best who carry their clubs over the line!) Whereas, clubs can't afford to do that because they're not rep sides...

You asked if he was actually shyte..... so yes it was used.

Forward packs are all about balance. In the Pacific Cup final last year when he played for Aust, he ran for 43m, but he can get away with it when he has players like Carrigan & Yeo in the middle with him who make 120m+. Plus an elite back 5 who all except Hammer also punched out 120m+.

You don't want a team full of Lindsay's, or a team full of Spencer's for that matter, who is all explosiveness. The point is you need a mix. Lindsay may be a top 5 front rower in some categories, but I wouldn't consider him a top 5 front rower overall, maybe not even top 10 in the NRL based on recent performances.

Backing this up I think Lindsay will struggle to make the rep sides this year
he made the kangaroos only with Tino and Haas being not available
for Maroons I’d have Carrigan, Tino, fledgler, fotuika, Gilbert and cotter all in front of Lindsay
again when not all available he’s the pick
he is good defensively but lost abit of starch running the ball and even in D not jamming guys like he has before

60 run metres for him tonight..... needed more from him without Spencer & Rads out early
