  • Radley back to ball playing lock?

    Maybe ?
I think with Sam Walker out and the lack of creativity in our halves , we might better off with Victor back at lock ?

Big yes from me. I think it's absolute madness if we don't. Wong is a natural right edge back rower and Rads a middle, but i feel like Robbo will overthink and play Wong at lock and Rads on the edge. Then after a few losses swap them into their more natural positions.

I get the idea of playing Rads in the backrow - we have 2x of the worst defensive halves in the comp so they need a solid defender inside which in theory helps the outside players slide better (not the case with us)
But agree he is a much better lock and we lose alot with Butch/Wong there, ideally we could go rd1

      Whyte
      ZDC
      Collins
      Gus
      Rads
      Watson

      Wong
      Ioelu
      Foketi

I agree..needs to lead the forwards and connect the backs .
I am worried tonight he might have one of his psycho games trying to bash them all himself..and visit Jim Comans grave

I like this side - much better balanced compared to the one in the trials

Radley at Lock or Hooker imo with Watson 14 whilst Sammy is absent.

Won’t happen . Rads likes second row and the coach likes him there.

Unfortunately he's playing second row this week.

rads is good wherever he plays. it's townshend and smith's show this week - maybe rads to lock if that doesn't work out

It's about his attack, not his defence. He defends well everywhere. Josh Reynolds on the radio who is a good judge imo and a roosters fan spoke at length on the radio about Victor needing to be a threat in the middle in the absence of our first choice half.

Let's be honest, Victor is in the top 17 players in the comp. Ball in hand he is a gun. In the middle he is excellent, because he has good feet, runs straight, and hits straight holes.

                          Could Radley ever play #6?

Victor Radley is absolutely not in the best 17 players in the NRL
