No bench prop couple of lightweight kids just starting out rads playing out of position no specialist hooker a halfback who hutch would probably beat in a foot race inexperienced five eight a centre with 2nrl games and a rugby union convert who has played 2or 3games max what could possibly go wrong lol but I’ll still watch it and cheer the boys on we are going to get a flogging though

Another interesting exclusion is the Va'a brothers. D S Va'a was touted as the next JWH coming through, big tall huge kid, but cant make the top 22, instead we named a reject prop from Parra above him. Xavier, the Billy Smith of our forward pack, just cant make it to game day, always injured.... A big kick in the guts for our academy with thoses 2 now not in the frame anymore and overlooked.

Unfair to tout him as the next JWH when JWH didn’t even start being JWH until he was 25.

Both Va’a boys out injured a long with Seve and Leniu (suspended), really short on middles this week.

If you want Front Rowers who play they Roosters footy, they must actually be Small Backrowers

and the backrowers must be locks....and the hooker must also be a lock

or something....

our top 30 is odd we have 14 backs and 7 are halves - so only 2 outside backs no in out 17 atm - with king, Tait and rodwell all extras

The side to face the Brisbane Broncos at 8pm this Thursday at Allianz Stadium has been trimmed 24 hours ahead of kick-off.

Nat Butcher comes out of the Squad with Siua Wong replacing him at lock.

Taylor Losalu takes up a spot on the bench along with Zach Docker-Clay, Blake Steep, and Salesi Foketi.
