  • FPN has better ball skills than Anasta

must say was very impressed with FPN today was a constant menace with ball in hand, for the first 15 minutes he was playing more five-eight than our so called captain Anasta.

there is some good building blocks at the club with Maloney and SBW and a half decent coach things might be looking good for 2013.

If the squad played like they did for most of todays game with the inclusion of Maloney and SBW Smith wouldn't have to go anywhere..

Id say even Shirley Temple could coach us close to a GF ..

Well there's no doubt Anasta had his game of the season but he still lacked involvement in attack. Glad to see him land all conversions. Could've been a completely different ball game if he missed even 1 and left us only 6 in front. Then we'd all be protesting for his head if we lost.

FPN's contract must be up for renewal, he has not played like that since his last contract extension

He was better for sure, but he's slow as a cripple.

fpn had an awesome game. when he is on, he brings something to the roosters that no other forward brings - running hard up the middle and providing quality second phase play. if only he played like that more often. he really is a leader when he plays like that. come on fpn, give us more of that stuff!

He has been on a mission since coming back from a broken jaw.

I liked his reaction to losing the ball when he broke through the line.

                          He was genuinely pissed off.

The one thing I like about him being in the team is he is not just an athlete like most modern day players but is actually a real footballer. He sometimes pushes the envelope but he can pass before or at the line. If he had a coach like Bellamy he would be one of the best forwards in the comp.

                              Hard to argue with that.
