A win's good, but we went soft at the end. Sorta sums up our season. Rather than being inside the 8 (shoulda beaten St Merge, NZ, Manly, Broncos...etc) we will struggle to make the 8 because we are so damn good at going soft when we're ahead!!!!

    Grrr...
Like the killer instinct that the bulldogs showed against the dragons on Friday night & the tigers against parra a few weeks back when they almost gave up a 31 - 0 lead. Its happened to alot of teams this year, just seems to be the nature of things this year. Drop your intensity by 5% and the opposition can come roaring back at you.

I'm sure most would of been happy with a 14 point win at the start of today.

Settle down mate you'd think we'd lost the way your carrying on.

I was really happy with the game.
I thought we would flog them but the turning point was the Pearce kick to Utai that led to a try.
But I heard that Gus Gould said we are putting a great team in the making and Joey talk up Moga.
Im impressed with all those great offloads, linebreaks, the wingers did well and I had no problem with them today as usual and FPN has gained my respect after shit form did very well today.
I still don't know why Friend was benched and I cant believe that comeback but I'm glad we won there was great defense too.
Another thing is imagine us alongside Maloney and hopefully SBW plus SKD was injured so when hes back we'll have 3 strike weapons Maloney, SKD and hpefully SBW and Moga in the making. Mini let in a soft try he's gotta learn to stop hoping for the ball to go dead and pick it up straight away. Happy with Anasta's kicking and I really have nothing to complain about apart from the tuning point and comeback but happy with the game. I thought though we should have had a bigger margin with the way we played and Farah out. WE MUST LEARN TO BE AGGRESIVE THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH AND NOT GET TWISTED WITH STEPPING MOLTZEN SCOED BY A STEP.

        HOPefully this form continues!!!!!!!

seriously cut them some damned slack my man. We had lost 4 in a row, they had won 7 in a row. they were at home and we have been down on confidence. Yeah I wish we went on with it as well but they are a very young team. Up the Roosters!!

I'm sure you called it earlier in the week too.

Mitchell had a good game , so i guess he won't be there.

Anthony Mitchell for mine was a big part of our win. Quick service to the forwards all game giving them time to wind up and bend the line of defence.Havin him start and friendy coming on later during the game is the way to go imo..

played a hand in our first 2 trys and one when he ignored anasta to the right to go Fpn was awsome to see. Resulted in a try to guerra. And the play before that anasta yelled out can be heard yelling out 'f*#k' when mitchel didn't pass to him the previous play. Hopefully smith has relized this and keeps him in the squad.
                    Go the chooks !

Great win though I almost had a heart attack at the end. The reason this forum is quiet? Maybe because we won and all the doomsdayers have got nothing tosay?

My favourite bit was when Anasta burst into the clear and was looking around like an idiot.

                              A very entertaining game.
Good linebreaks lots of Russian flags and a great pass by Cordner and hit from Guerra.
Where has Emma-Louise Birdsall got to???
The turning point though was when Pearce directly kicked it to Utai he always does that.
                              Still a win

FPN whips in a quick little head-butt without following through, more like a tap, probably get a week at most if that, really need him next week.
