He doesn't have to play those positions to help them reach their potential. That's what great coaches do. They provide the frame work and environment for athletes to flourish. They tweak, add polish, simplify, motivate etc to a players game.

King Salvo, your loyalty to the coach and team is admirable but some of the nonsense you are sprouting is beneath you.

Our club appears to be in quite a spot of bother. Obviously the head coach is not responsible for all our problems but in any organisation the buck stops with the man in charge and the man in charge looks to be out of his depth.

193cm 130kg prop Jordan Miller (Fijian think he said) has been sacked by West Tigers...late for training, something about a legal matter not involving him, he said.
Currently in arbitration.
We need him.
Late for training is fixable...and with the Va'a bros out of action for some time, DLS in hospital...or was recently, coughing up blood.
Doctors think hematoma or other infection travelled to his lungs.
X Va'a had cut or scratch that got infected with bug/s. Had to go back to hospital for more antibiotics.
Both will make full recovery....in time.

Craig Bellamy played 5 games on the wing, 66 games at centre, 36 games at 5/8, 6 games at halfback and 45 games off the bench as a Utility.

And he did play a game at fullback in the Panasonic Cup

Motivation - Players are self motivated the same as you are - does your management at your workplace have to contact you each morning to wake you up on work days plus ensure you have your breakfast and get ready for work and then arrive at work on time and undertake the activities of your role.

You don't seem to have much of a grasp on what training and development occurs at the junior level i,e academies and junior rep let alone senior reps and NRL level.

I tend to agree with you , legitimately he only has won three premierships . So why is he considered the greatest ever !!Cleary has won 4 in a row and Robbo has won three !

Let's not forget his disastrous stint as NSW coach where he was accused of going soft on his Queensland Storm contingent and losing 40-0 in a grand final. Melbourne had teams that should have won the comp every year how has Bellamy got this greatest of all time moniker?
