The management by politis and his board leaves a lot to be desired- this just another incident and example of why our club is not progressing since the whole Stuart: Bennett debacle. Our management treat our own with so much disrespect I.e fitter fitzy and perrett to name a few whilst they show our poor playing captain loyality.that doesn't add up to me yet what is my real point here is the pattern needs to be broken and that unlikely by politis whilst his ego and decisions making are ruining this fine club

The Roosters need him as we have injuries in our three-quarter line so refused him permission to walk out on his contract, we chose him to play first grade ( as usual ) so the lovely guy Does'nt bother turning up for training, a low act indeed. I gave up hope for this year a long time ago. Play Sammy in Newtown colours for the rest of the year. I do'nt want to see him in our colours again.

Originally posted by Big Arty View PostHe was given the day off actually, he'll play for his mates & club against Manly (look for him to have another top game, his last in the RWB that he loves), we then have the bye & Peni & SKD should be back by the next round, so Sammy will be released after the Manly match, before June 30, so he doesn't have to stay with us for the rest of the season, no low acts involved, no conspiracies, just professionals conducting their business the best they can. When you trust your television

Didn't know I was under oath, I posted the article in another thread earlier, it was actually one that you had contributed to so I thought you'd have read it, so my other post that you say I was saying was fact was merely the way I read things were progressing, sorry if I wasn't clear. There's another article in the smh which also says his early release from the Roosters is likely, check the last paragraph

I just didn't think it was fair that Sammy was being blamed for missing training as a low act, when it was out there in the public domain that he was given permission by the club & to me anyway it just looks like everyone was behaving quite rationally, in the best interests of all concerned.

There was an article in the SMH this morning Andrew (which has been posted on here somewhere) that basically states what Big Arty has posted. And it makes sense to have the transfer happen after this weekend's game after which we have the bye.
It gives our injured players 2 weeks to maybe get back on the field and also gives the coaching staff more time to closely watch the Jets players who may come into consideration if we need them.
