    Surely, for 2013?

Turner and Goodwin are gone for the season, even if they're deregistered we still have to cover their money. I can't imagine the Roosters would release Perrett mid season, then still pay his contract whilst he plays for the Dogs. I'm as intrigued as you guys.

Are things that bad at the Roosters, what's going on?

No wonder he had his best game of the season today.

Strange decision if true, even if it is for 2013. At the end of the day he is a solid player, nothing more. I don't buy into the overstated value of his dummy half runs. Given the length of time at the club I would have thought with the potential increase in long service allowances the club would have kept him for relatively cheap as a squad player.

Only reason we would be releasing Perrett and Mitchell immediately would be to fit someone on a big pay packet before June 30, perhaps Jennings? (he looked bored as all hell yet again for Penwuff today)

                    Wtf???????!!?!?!?!?!!
                    Where has this come from??
Well hes gone to a better place where there will be no mind games and better recruiting and he will win a premiership.
I wish we had a proper send off.
                    Whos gonna be winger now??
                    Emma-Louise Birdsall???????
                    Darren Percival?????????????
The good thing is now we can resign Tasi and SBW.
He played well today though. And is it rumoured to the Dogs
                    WHO ARE THE POACHERS NOW
Morris, Williams, Turner, Graham, Ennis, Halatau, Stagg, Inu, Hodkinson, Keating, Tolman aint bred!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                      Dogs make
                      a big play
                      for Perrett
                      ANDREW WEBSTER
                      ROOSTERS winger Sam Perrett
is poised to make a stunning
                      mid-season switch to the
                      Bulldogs. The Daily Telegraph
                      can reveal yesterday’s 42-28
win over the Wests Tigers at
                      Leichhardt Oval may be the
                      Kiwi international’s last match
in the red, white and blue.
                      The 27-year-old stunned the
Roosters when he asked for an
                      immediate release so he can
take up a three-year deal at
                      Belmore. Perrett is off-contract
at the end of the season but the
                      Roosters are reluctant to release
                      him early.
                      It is understood Roosters
                      players and the coaching staff
                      have been unaware of the
                      move until recently. Perrett has
                      been an outstanding club

Same guy as original tweet; " im stunned too. Told his team mates over dinner. Could play for dogs v storm next weekend"

I'm really hoping its of his own accord. It would be criminal for the club to do this to him.

there has been some fallout over the club wanting to keep Llyod while letting Sam go, when the brothers stated they wanted to go as a package deal, Llyod has been overlooked for NYC selection because he wouldn't sign a contract extension and hence Sam getting his nose out of joint.

He was Queensland U18's best forward vs NSW U18's the other night in the curtain raiser. No doubt he'll join brother Sam @ the Bulldogs. Bloody Todd Greenturd
