Sad and baseless claims. I expect better from you, although not sure why.

The reason someone having similar views to you is such a foreign concept is because you don't share any. Just rinse and regurgitate the same tropes and cliches over and over again.

You are the resident AI bot, except you have the built-in feature of getting pissy when your shallow "analysis" is picked apart. Try and stop posting at 2am aswell mate, I worry about you. Enjoy your day.

It’s going to be a long, depressing season. The draw isn’t helping at all having to play the Riff and Broncos twice each in the first 7 rounds. Ridiculous. I get the decision by Robbo to look to youth and our development players. But I feel our biggest weakness is in the front row. We really need another experienced prop or two and we never, ever seem to have any luck with injuries and hia’s. You can’t win matches if we can’t win the battle in the forwards.

Here's the thing he's gotta be given time to see how this plays out. So far Toia & Marky were fine.

Next week we face the Riff and maybe cop a similar result. BUT the Board know we played 2 heavy weights with a raw team of young talent. So nobody's going nowhere.

Reckon Robbo might have the get out jail card because of this rebuilding year.....

IF we get smashed every which way every week then patience might get a bit thin. Still they'll keep the coach because they're punting on him for next season.

And anyways they know that if they panic and punt Robbo then there aint a whole heap of unemployed 1st grade coaches with great form out there.

IMO this pissing contest about who's the heavy duty supporter and who's not like whats the point ? Some of us work shifts that don't let us go to many games, some like my cousin has a real bad anxiety thing and she can't be in crowds, some don't have the spare coin with cost of living so whole heap of reasons.

In the end we all got our opinions.
Really well said mate, especially your last part.

I definitely agree. I think the real pressure will come if we lose to the mid table and lower sides during the year. The Riff and Bris will put a score on a lot of sides this year. Unfortunately we play them both again soon.

How have we found ourselves in this position I think the beginning of this was the abolishment of the NYC competition. The were outstanding in not only the talent they brought in for this but also the management of these young players in transition to first grade. Cordner Butcher Friend RTS Napa Manu Butcher spring straight to mind as players who came through that system and won NRL GFs with us.

The abolishment of this comp and the restructuring of things left us weaker IMO the pathways to first grade not as seamless as it was with an NYC side players whom were not only contracted to the club but played footy for us in our colours on the same day as first grade The club as a whole was one The younger ones going through the system after that whilst contracted were not really a part of things as a whole Playing for Norths or a feeder club is nit the same Leaving a sort of disconnect between the elite players and the up and coming youngsters. It led to recruiting older players Cronk Morris Bros ( all outstanding for us ) but with limited longevity Jennings That along with Uncle Nic as he’s getting older wanting more instant success has led us here to where we are. I think they knew this was coming but went all in trying to win another GF which we didnt manage. Now we have a mass exodus of experience gone at once with youngsters left to fill the void. You cannot lose all those players at once and replace them at the same time

My honest opinion is our club would be more strongly positioned with the NYC back We produced some outstanding talent for not only us but other clubs
I think you're onto something here Mr Walker. There is definitely an issue with our pathways. I'm sure the Covid years didn't help but it is going to take time for any of our talented youngsters to make a mark in the NRL. I'm not sure our fanbase has the stomach for it! Thanks for replying, greatly appreciated.

A terrible performance, especially in defense. The worst for a few years. Subjecting myself to the replay right now, no idea why.

I wonder if the Pamfers are contemplating resting a few players next week against us, given they play the Storm the week after with only a 6 day turn-around.

Well their 2nd grade team beat Manly (who played 1st graders) in the trial the weekend before Vegas. They will still beat us easily.

Our forward pack has become weak as piss so quickly. Why don't we sign Terrell May. He looks like a talent
