Rooster_6, that Tolman rumour has been around for months, Desie doesn't want his large salary on the dogs cap going forward, for whatever reason we were linked with going after him, its just one of many rumours doing the rounds now, I don't actually think he is coming here.

that being said their will still be plenty of players trading clubs ahead of june 30, who knows what the Roosters have in mind, they will probably free up around $100k in the cap this season be moving on Perrett/Mitchell.

Tolman would be a great addition. He is a hard working front rower and in a way an old fashioned front rower without the flare most young forwards have. He would be awesome with our pack, we have the flare and aggression already...we just need someone who will grind out some metres and tackles up the middle.

Also I think we would get him fairly cheap. The bulldogs are obviously going to unload a few players (with some big signings of recent). Not to mention the fact he hasnt played rep footy yet. I think he has a big future...would be a great addition to our young team!!

But I also agree with others sentiments. We are in need of some x-factor/speedy wingers.

With the money we have freed up we should be able to buy both. We've let some big names go in the last 2 years and havent signed anyone except Maloney, sure we are securing our youngsters...but we still have lots of $$$ free for next year!!
