What was wrong with the team that played yesterday?

Tasi played "Mose and I will run at the tryline together and I'll be on the outside and he a dummy runner, I'll get the ball and score a match-winning try!" yesterday.

    Tasi must be kept.

And you want to sell off talent like that?

      Tasi must be kept.
Tasi still has another year to go on his contract. He is going no where...

        Well that's one good thing.
...unless of course he's being released, so the Dogs can have him...and exchange him for Tolman.

tasi, evans, JWH and kennedy are all must keeps for us. I also like FPN - can be inconsistent but he is just 25 now just shy of 100 first grade games. the younger polynesian boys seem to look up to him so maybe his game yesterday is that break-out performance he needs....

I wouldnt be adverse to tolman coming but not for 300k. 250k max imo. That said, he is still under contract at the dogs for a couple of years meaning they will be paying a portion of their salary. On the bright side, although a few years younger, Tolman by all accounts is a fantastic team man (much like perrett) and will give our team a genuine worker and consistent performer in the middle.

I would be disappointed if we lost mitchell. he is a great player imo. he and friend rotating is deadly. I would even like to see smith use them both at the same time as time wears on - its not like friend doesnt have the workrate/frame to play more of a dual hooker/roving lock role....

Maloney will be good icing on the cake for this side imo with his control but also his running game. I think decreased responsibility will allow pearce to run the ball more and play more freely which as a young 5/8, he was particularly good at. Once RTS hits firsts at fullback our spine will have sufficient strike power and x-factor.

I do still think we need a replacement outside back for sammy. Someone like copely would be perfect

Also, Israel Folau to the Eels. He wants out of GWS badly & the AFL realise he's a poor investment. The only sticking point is they are not keen on him joining a Sydney team. You heard it here first.
              Back to Melbourne perhaps?

              They are losing Dane Nielsen.
