  • Fight it, or surrender meekly as usual?

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 1 match against the Brisbane Broncos, one Rooster has been cited by the Match Review Committee.

It would be foolish to fight it. On recent form we would lose and then its a bigger penalty. We get treated harshly by the refs and the whole judiciary process.

Angus offered very little with his telegraphed left side run efforts last night. Just drifts sideways on his runs, can't straighten up, is a big body, but he usually gets contained quite easily. What is he an $850k a season player? Not for mine.

Doesn't have a straighten up on that side, always thought he'd go better on the right, where he used to play at Souths

we won't fight it but 3k is a big bribe to avoid being suspended for 2 games for something that arguably wasn't a penalty
