  • Is Robbo over it ???

    I think so.

No coach with his success would dish up last nights diabolical performance unless they've checked out. It made me sick to my stomach to watch Maguire grin with pleasure as his team put 50 on us. FFS!

I'd be very surprised if he makes it through to the end of the season.

He - at least Politis anyway - been pretty open about it being a rebuilding season, so I would say he'll see the season out.

Sucks to be a fan though.

      Robbo is going nowhere.
Even if we come last he will still be the coach in 2026

At least he will have pressure on him in 2026 then
there will be a line drawn at some point to either fix it or take off

He'll be watching round 1 2026 from the French Riviera imo. Uncle Nick won't tolerate the garbage that was dished up last night from a team that wasn't even fit enough to play NRL.

There are no excuses when it comes to fitness!

The Broncos could've played another 40 minutes.

Even if it's gonna be a rough ride this year reckon we'll develop some decent talent.

Robson next year and maybe 1 or 2 others.

The only thing I reckon they might've pushed is too many rookies in one lot. But what quality was on offer was a bit patchy.

Uncle Nick backs Coach Robinson and that is all that matters.

                Ah yes, "sack Robbo".
And employ who, as head coach?

Want better results from Robbo? Give him a better team to coach.

Robbo is safe for 2025. But 2026 is when the walls will start closing in if the team isn't competitive (top 4ish)

It is a rebuilding year, and we have key players out long term too.

Although we haven't won anything in the early 2020's we were always competitive and right up in the mix. That, and the 3 premierships prior, stand for something.

I'd also say Robbo would be the kind of bloke to fall on his sword if his heart wasn't in it.

To be fair, last season he had a team filled with rep players or former rep players and we still almost conceded 50 in a preliminary final...

I wouldn't mind Robbo running the front office when Uncle Nick retires - he is a Rooster through and through

                          But

I think he is stale as head coach

Trent should be relishing this opportunity to coach. It is now that his credentials will be tested, bringing through the next crop.

The children want a new toy and when that gets old that want a newer toy, I don’t know how you have the energy sometimes to keep replying to them hats off to you Salvo.

We are in for a long season, most likely not much joy, however I’m keen to see how our young crop of players develop over the course of the year, how good are our young centre’s potential there to be world class, both of them.

What is your take on Sandon Smith? I believe this kid should just tuck the ball under and run and run often.

Prop- Lindsay just doesn’t seem to have much impact taking the ball up, defence is great and his work off the ball is second to none if Victor and Butcher were playing we don’t concede as much, No Leniu didn’t help Whyte was completely dominated,
Chrichton busted his ass only forward to crack 100 meters from 15 runs he almost ran the ball more then Lindsay Whyte and Wong combined, the kids on the bench have nothing to be ashamed of

Wong- seems down on confidence was fantastic at the back end of 23 season was barely sighted.
