He is very average. Has speed & can find the try line, but a defensive liability & defence wins premierships. He puts everyone else around him under do much more position & he has no idea on defensive structure or lines.
But to be fair our recruitment over the last few years has been up there as the worst in the comp,

Words that don't specifically mean anything in particular (especially in the context they are used) but are interchangeable with numerous situations both negative and positive. They are used to appease and/or diffuse without delving any further than surface level. Trent is a big proponent of them.

Look DY has genuine X-factor with his pace and awkward running style. He's a handful for the opposition and puts himself in good position to score.

He also has the defensive decision making ability of an U7s player and it doesnt seem to have improved in the slightest.

He has uncoachable traits that make him stand out positively. You'd like to think he can be coached on his defensive issues, but it hasn't clicked for him yet. Perhaps ressies will help him learn quicker.
