The one positive (if you call it that) for this week is that I'm reminded how big the gulf in class and strength there is in the league. Broncos unfortunately are going to be in the upper echelon of teams this year. Same as the Riff so we won't learn anything new this week but will take another beating.

The Warriors, Knights, Tigers, Parra and Nth Qld were all absolutely woeful and I still think we are a better side than most of those. I'd say we'll finish above at least 3 of those sides if that's a small consolation.

I'd be surprised if our current halves could manufacture enough points to win a again. Then there is the rudderless issue as Chad couldn't steer a ship set on auto pilot.

Forwards will also need to improve. Yardage is another issue.

Put simply, we're rabble at this point in time.

I also thought that we'd beat both Souffs and the Dolphins on the form we saw on Friday night. Unforch, there is no forward leader/inspirer apart from Rads, Connor and Gus who often lead by example but none of them are the whole package yet.
