I was just as confused as everyone else when hearing the May news during the off season and thought Trent has made a huge mistake especially given the players we lost at the end of the season.
However, two games into this season, more than happy with the choices made and the potential from our young guys.
Terrell might have a big motor, but I question his impact. He is more of an Aaron Woods when it comes to hitups, he hits the line and stops. No leg drive, no aggression or breaking tackles.
If we compare his game against the eels to Naufahu’s game against the riff:
All runs and Metres Gained
TM - 21 and 176 = 8.4m per run avg
NW - 13 and 152 = 11.7m per run avg
post contact metres
TM - 59m or 33% of all run metres
NW - 69m or 45% of all run metres
fahu’s effort and impact is much greater. Would much prefer a player that provides this impact than someone who just hits and falls.

I still think we are at least 1x experienced middle short however...
With Smith being moved on hopefully Robbo just tells him to stuff it and use him as an impact middle forward when he comes back there's no need to bow down to him wanting to play hooker now.

May was probably just being his nonchalant self and saying it the way it is however, for Trent and the hierarchy, this was the straw that broke the camel's back. His attitude and cockiness was perceived as having an ill effect on the younger ones.

Glad we didn’t get Molo, he’s form has fallen off a cliff and if we are trying to improve culture signing him would be the opposite. The Penrith game also showed that our young talent can do a good job when called on. We don’t need him.EASTS TO WIN!

We dodged a bullet with Molo.

To be fair we did actually bid on Hunt. However the rest reminds me of the old rumour that Duges was our long-term, strategic signing. Aaaah Duges! The superhero they call 'Tat Man'.
Side note... doing my marathon training, I notice a connection between the amount of tats people have and the amount of injuries/complaints people have. Just saying
