JWH is a chance of winning a Super League title. Good on him.

We need L Collins to be better with ball in hand.

Plus we have to get our defense in order.

      Come on Chooks.

No to Manu and JWH . They were integral parts of our success but time to move on . We knew this time would come so we now need to look to the future not in the past .

I really like Toia. Deserves his chance and will only get better with games.

Manu is a legend but he was so peripheral in the last couple seasons, I think he checked out from NRL

            Toia time now
anyone else thinks he looks trim? I wonder if they have dropped some weight off him sense his 2nd acl to reduce the chance of another injury and keep him agile
certainly would have debut earlier if not for his injuries
allready shown a lot more attacking prowess in one game of nrl then Suaali did at centre in 50 games

Manu is a game changing, elite talent at centre and FB and a Rooster great who has given us some of the best individual impacts of any player in the last ~5yrs. He can and has often single handily changed/ won us matches off the back of nothing at times. I’d have him back in a heartbeat and selfishly wish he wasn’t being wasted overseas playing union - but you can understand and support his reasons

Im a huge fan of Bobby’s potential, but with one game under his belt that’s what it is right now - potential. Even if that potential is arguably higher than Manu’s at the same time of their careers, fulfilling it is another story. I’ll back the kid.

                  Be good to have both.

As long as he isn't on the same injury prevention program as Billy.

Pfffft....the Manu boat has sailed imo.
Why give up an earlier gig in France to come back to us ?

Can't blame the bloke. Great food, short flight to other EU places....yeah hard to take.

Gotta stick solid with Toia. He looks the goods and more exposure to 1st grades gonna be a good learning experience.

Joey he packed it in last year but Toia he's fresh, has talent and maybe the hunger.

                      Good luck Robert

Manu is on a high paid holiday. His time in NRL is probably over. I dont think JWH would want to come back. The contract issues would be very messy. I think he has too much integrity to walk away from Hull. Tupou is still playing OK. He is dependable and safe. He didnt get as many scoring opportunities as normal last year because Dom Young was the flavor of the month and Walker played mainly on his side. Keary mainly set up Angus on the RHS rather than going wide to Toops.

I don't see JWH coming back even if the club put out an SOS for him. It isn't like he's signed for a NSW Cup team down the road he's gotten settled in with his family in an entirely different country, done everything that goes along with that (I imagine not a fun process) and is probably hopeful to stay there for another year or two after this.

Even if he did come back it would be a bit embarrassing to put a 36 year old prop forward who struggled last year on a pedestal and expect him to massively change things for us. He's a Roosters great but lets not have him tarnish his legacy by coming back to try and turn the 2025 Roosters around.

I might be mistaken, but Toops scored over 20tries last year. Probably close to the most he has scored in any of his years here.
