A few of the players also dont want $BW joining the team because he is isnt a team player and will always put himself above the team.... but hey, lets re sign smith and offer $BW a 1mill contract for 1year plus let him box on the side when he wants to.
And that player you are referring to...he would be in the majority.

I don't agree with that at all. After Mason, Ogre, Myles, and Asotasi left, SBW was asked to be more than a team player, he was asked to be the team. Everyone rested on their laurels expecting SBW to be used as a battering ram and single-handedly win games for them. Even in his final year, I never saw SBW go missing in a game.
Given the choice of destroying their body, or elongating their career and earning a lot more money in the process, most players would have made the same decision.

Our four big boppers are going from strength to strength, and with Evans, Liu, Tago and Napa waiting in the wings we have ready-made replacements. Cordner has really stepped up in Myles' absence, shouldering good workloads and having a few more strings to his bow than big Nate. Guerra and Arona have stood up as well, this year.
Graham going at first seemed an issue, but with Moga emerging and slowly establishing himself in first grade, I doubt we will lose much. Linnett is probably the bigger loss IMO. Leilua has been inconsistent at centre, and Tagive has been a bit up and down on the wing. Linnett wasn't a world beater, but he was stable, safe, strong and had plenty of speed in the open.
ryles is built from the same shyt hindmarsh. to toiler with a moral back ground. i think ryles and linnet were our biggest losses at the end of 2011.Last edited by roosterproud; 06-19-2012, 09:20 PM.1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020

I'd say FPN, Aubbo and Mose are the only legitimate disappointments. FPN is old enough to do better and Aubbo and Mose have higher expectations placed on them given their past experience.
