I switched over to Nine when they started talking about the Panthers errors and missed tackles, gave no credit to the Roosters.

Penrith had 10-4 penalty count in their favour, had almost 3 times as many play the balls in good ball and were gifted a bullshit sin bin. Spare me.... much more balanced coverage on Nine which is surprising.

    • A team of Rookies and Robbo outsmarted the Riff and both Clearys and a win for the ages with 1 player short.
Ref Turd Smith will be what ref Ben Cummins was to the club.

      • Been critical of Robbo recently, but the way we played tonight was exactly the right tactic against Penrith. We took chances, changed direction in attack, went hard in defence. We let some tries in, but that’s to be expected against the best. Real proud of the club. There wasn’t a bad player tonight wearing our jersey.

I am expecting our season to be a bit up and down at times due to the inexperience, but if we can put together performances like at here and there at least show resilience in losses it will be great experience for the next few years for our next generation.

Also, Todd Smith and the refs are cheats. Blatant rub of the green for Penref tonight.
        EASTS TO WIN!

        • Brilliant coaching! Dom was used so intelligently. They relied totally on Cleary and penalties and we had only 12 men. Great win.

The ref was a dead set fcuking cheat
                8-3 the penalties to Penrith.

They stood offside all night, they ran obstructions and whenever they belted our guys in the head, they got to stay on the field.

I don't think I've ever seen a worse reffing performance before tonight's display of blatant cheating.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

                  Hahaha no mate.

My Brother was at the game and sent me a txt at full-time asking the same thing. He placed a $20 bet at the ground.

                  You?

                  • Arguments on both sides; panthers shit the bed so many times with errors and Roosters dudded with a bullshit sin bin and few rubbish calls… but when the dust settles, we came
out on top and that is huge. So bloody good!!!

                    • Obviously it won't happen but this is why I've been pushing to just push young blokes into the fold and let them play. They don't think about being outsiders or who they're vsing. When it comes to effort, they just have that enthusiasm to win and play hard.

Play Rodwell over Townsend and give Collins 10mins off the bench or he can captain our NSW Cup side. Amazing effort from the young forwards. No fear.

                      • Its got to be one of the best wins since Ive been watching the Chooks.
Im actually still in shock, I gave us NO CHANCE, 11 players out come on.
                        Incredible.

                          • I hope Whyte starts with Collins next week and Robbo brings Spencer off the bench is his best position
Whyte I predicted at the start of the year to be our best front rower this year - needs to be starting
                            reminds me of SST
also Wong looked best on the edge compared to middle!
Marky N and toia have shown more then Suaali and Manu so far
will be great to get Collins, rads, Spencer back and potentially Egan butch and Billy smith in reserves slowly getting troops back

What about the blatant forward passes? Just to see us beat them the way we did (outsmarted them) makes my season. This was Robbo at his best. Says a lot about our overhyped players who departed. I believe to be competitive we need youth and speed and we saw it on display tonight. Experience will come. What happened tonight I’m still in shock?

There's forward passes in every match, but it's the blatant bias in every other aspect that boils my blood.

Smith gave them the benefit of the doubt in every single ruling and was at pains to find fault with everything Easts did.

                                Such a corrupt wanker.
