Todd Smith is bog average missed blatant tackle off the ball on Tedesco and now this. Should be easy calls for a ref at this level. When every player on the field knows what's happened and you're looking clueless you've got to realise... It might be you.

We cop a couple of duds against the Panthers. Probably more than we do against any other team. It’s obviously not the reason why they’re so dominant against us, but they benefit from a few howlers every single time we play.

On the positive side, the team has been outstanding. A couple of standard Roosters errors, but Marky, Toia, Losalu and Foketi were extremely strong - and basically everyone has been good. Couldn’t have dreamed of anything better.

Well done lads. Playing without fear and having a crack. Our little men Sandon and Connor have been outstanding. Great results from contesting the bombs....makes a difference. Great effort in defence.

Amusing listening to A Johns trying to make virtual love to Nathan Cleary from the comm box as usual. Has been nonplussed when we score points...doesn't know what to say!

Whatever happens from here, that first 40 minutes will do our young cats the world of good. Knowing they can match it.

Ref has his eyes painted on missing some of those obstructions - Roosters need to complete their sets though and cut down on errors - a few poor passes gave Penrith back possession
