I'm with you Chops - unfortunately he just didn't fit into the culture that we wanted to keep building, particularly with his personality and wanting to share information about the team on his podcasts when they should have been kept in-house.

I have major doubts that he will remain with us until the end of the season, unless he somehow plays out of his skin and gets us into the finals.

Humphrey's was never going to unseat DCE at 7 but he's capable at 9 and handy off the bench.

Extensions - Players may sign contracts for the same money or increased payments for additional years- but when does this start from?

Upgrades - Obviously an increase in wages but when does that start - current year or the next year and onwards?

Roosters have significant cap space and all know clubs have to spend 97.5% of the Salary cap each season

I think this just puts the exclamation mark on how off the mark and poor this signing was. I said it on here from day dot. I like him as a player but it just didn’t appear like a good fit on paper.

He’s been hit hard with injuries to be fair but he wasn’t great when fit either. Can’t go big mins and just doesn’t suit what we are trying to do at all.
