I think Teddy was saying he wanted Smith to remain for the year.

I think we should hold onto him, play him in lock or second row from the bench and try and get some quality from him in the last half of the year…also already we have seen our team decimated by injuries/suspensions. If we are going to aim for the 8 depth is crucial.

Yeah on his poddie, Smith said he's staying until the end of the year. He also said that Rads has been jokingly saying 'alright thank you Wayne Bennett' every time he says stuff

End of the day he's on our books and Robson's not coming early. If he's providing useful energy and strategic input then there's no incentive for us to give Souffs an extra player before necessary.

Cheese's messaging is that he still has a good working relationship with Robbo and wants to play footy.

Serious question though... almost identical salaries... why does Teddy cop so much more criticism than Cheese? No hate but Cheese has been injured most of the time and has never hit the kinda form I was hoping (or added a POD to our attack). Sigh. I'm gonna say it... shoulda kept Verrills!!!

I think we went for cheese and poor Sam verills who is a great natural hooker couldn’t stay on the field
his first year at titans missed most of the year as well
injuries hurt Sam and I think that’s why we looked elsewhere
that coupled with lack of quality players on the market and us paying overs for cheese as dolphins and other clubs were throwing money around

Robson is certainly a step in the right direction for recruitment though
