Why/how beat them with a bunch of reggies - and not when we had ' superstars '.

    Well done Roosters.

Very happy with the win as we all are but I don't think Robbo is really vindicated here, he has still massively underperformed since 2019 and we beat one of the worst performing Panthers sides since the start of 2020. If he takes this team that is predicted for bottom 4 into a finals series then we can revisit this one in my opinion.

          Agree with this.

Taking nothing away from the amazing effort tonight and Robbo obviously played his part in getting the boys fired up.

Great win, one to be remembered for a long time. However, Penrith were absolutely dreadful. Broncs wouldve beat them by 30 tonight.

To be able to instil the belief in those young guys that they could pull this off was remarkable. People bagged his press conmference last week because he said we lacked 'footy smarts' and that was what cost us. It would have done absolutely no good to the young players if he went in there and bagged them last week. Praise in public, criticise in private is what all good mentors live by and you could see the energy and character of the young guys in spades tonight.

The big thing will be the confidence these youngsters will get from this win

                2021 was an underperformance?

Enjoy the win mate, enjoy the weekend.

No sir. Happy man tonight. The next few games will be huge though. We won't be going in as $11 outsiders in any of them.

                            Read the room mate.

that was a tremendous victory, at least give it a couple days before putting a downer on it.

It was refreshing to see that Robbo sent his men out with a fairly obvious game plan.

The criminal ref did his very best to crush it.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
