    Not sure about Nat

    De La Salle Va'a

In a third blow to the Chooks’ forward stocks, 19-year-old De La Salle Va’a has been readmitted to hospital for a second time this week after coughing up blood according to Code Sports.

Va’a spent seven days in hospital before being allowed to check out. He then returned two days ago after his symptoms became worse.

“He had massive temperatures and was in emergency for 18 hours before they finally admitted him,” Va’a’s manager Trevor Conroy told Code Sports.

“No-one can figure out what’s wrong with him.

“De La Salle hurt his hip a few weeks ago and they think it could have been a haematoma that got infected and went to his kidneys and lungs. He was coughing up blood.”

Conroy said that doctors are confident Va’a will make a full recovery, although he won’t be back on the field for at least another six weeks.

I read somewhere it was 6 to 12 weeks out

I remember in one of the trials DLSV went down on his hanuches a few times in that game - that may have been related to the above ?

Spencer really needs to step it up and ' stand out ' for the right reasons.

Lindsay off the bench gives us less impact when he comes on, but hopefully the demotion fires a rocket up him

I would've liked to see Lindsay start and Leniu off the bench also but I think there is some validity to what a poster said before about Lindsay being eased back into things due to illness.

I think Lindsay will get another weeks rest, and with Foketi out, I think that will bring Roberts and Losalu into the 17.

The side to face the New Zealand Warriors at 6pm AEDT this Friday at Go Media Stadium has been trimmed 24 hours ahead of kick-off.

Lindsay Collins has dropped out of the side as he hasn't returned to full function post illness. Makahesi Makatoa replaces him on the bench.

Salesi Foketi comes out of the side after his suspension was upheld at the judiciary, with Hugo Savala replacing him.

Taylor Losalu comes out of the side.

The final teamlist will be released one hour before kick-off, at 5pm.

Its a hard game to tip IMO.
                                Both winners last week
The Roosters have kept the New Zealand Warriors scoreless in each of their last two NRL meetings in New Zealand, winning by combined margin of 46-0 across those games; in fact, they've won five of their last seven games against the Warriors in New Zealand
