He said he will not make a decision for months. So that means teams will have to put away plenty of cap space. Can the dolphins do this better than us? I don’t believe so. I also think we will sell him the Cronk Treatment which would be tempting enough.

    Welcome DCE.

The way he spoke to me it sounded that he already agreed to play here in 26/27 months ago.

Sounds like uncle nick has been weaving his magic behind the scenes again.

May is gone so get over it as well - gees how many more posts? - would rather see Taylor Losalu get a shot having come through the pathways and has the work ethic as well.
I honestly think there is 0 chance Sandon is our future & if he is our future in the Halves we’re basically giving up on being a contender for the next decade. Can see him seeing out his contract then going to a bottom feeder club like his fellow average halves players we have had being Nikorima,Hastings & Flanno. Not saying for 1 minute I honestly think DCE will be with us, but I’d take him over Sandon & that gives us a few years to then bring in another experienced player from elsewhere (Ponga/Moses or similar), or will allow Rodwell time. Sandon isn’t our future in any shape or form.

Fox League said that DCE is apparently very settled in the northern beaches and wouldn't look to be moving houses, if that's true then the Roosters would have to be the frontrunners to get his signature as obviously he can't drive to Redcliffe for training and Wollongong to train with the Dragons would require a move. Manly to Allianz though is only about 25 minutes though.

He's probably the best half option for us in free agency and with a couple of other good signings it could be a premiership winning team in 2026. Two Origin spine players coming into the squad would be huge for us right now

Sandon is a myth. His future is at a bottom feeder club like his mates Hastings & Flanno, or in Super League. He just isn’t a NRL quality player, at least not at a club like us that wants success.

Sounds like a perfect buy for Gus and his dogs.

Yes...fans are concerned that we might lose Sam Walker.

An American forumite told me about it...it was the only way I could get to that forum.

I downloaded the app to my phone.

Still not sure but this has the roosters all over it
we have tried with Ben hunt and Shaun Johnson allready
                          also gagai

we could move home but happy and manly and the roosters are the closest club so doesn’t have to move

Dragons would be to far away and can’t imagine the ideal situation of heading west to dogs

we have cap space and will be keen to prove a point we can still jag the big fish after a few recruitment failures picking the wrong man or missing out on signatures

                              No thanks,
I think iv seen some glimpses of Sandon Smith this year to say he is the one to partner Sam Walker going forward.

Sounds like he could come to us but 10 years ago DCE did the contract backflip, so take his ‘commitment’ to be done with Manly with a grain of salt. Would be Cronk like but probably at the expense of Sandon who is young and getting better all the time….
