Side note, I've used it for at least a decade and it's a privacy-centric browser.

In short, the Google ads also track you from site to site and monitor your web searches so that they can feed you ads. I find it perverse that Google profiles people like this, so decided to essentially 'opt out' by going with DDG.

Will try to be brief but hackers can also get access to these profiles and do 'shyte'. I'll keep this brief but when I divorced my ex, she paid hackers to harass the shyte outta me online. This was the lightbulb moment for me where I was like 'we need to protect our sensitive data'.

Back on topic... as you've said... I think it's a fair point that the 'Pen has been taken over by ads. I know you can pay but one ad per post is a bit harsh IMO. Particularly on mobile devices.

It would go against what the club has decided to do in terms of bringing through young players and buying the odd established quality player. DCE fits that role but he'll be 37 at the start of next season.

In saying that, Sandon Smith doesn't look like he's a long-term option to me. I could be wrong, but I get that feeling he's not long term.

If Ponga is coming in 2027 or 2028 then maybe DCE could be a good option until then.

Thanks for this tip. Really appreciated as neither Safari or chrome worked. Luv the DuckDuckGo.

I think we should 100% go for him. Makes complete sense. Sandon can play 14, where hehas actually been solid in the past. I don’t think he’s ready for week in week out NRL in the halves. I also struggle to see it working long term with him and Walker both being small halves. I see our real long term half being Rodwell. Something about him.

All the more reason to get DCE on board. Having him and Cronk at the club to assist in development only makes us stronger. I think if we are getting him, then it’s already been decided and discussed and sealed and we just don’t know anything about it.

I wonder if the next thread will be titled "DCE now inked".

This one has the feel of something being left unsaid. DCE did his diplomatic best to make a strange situation seem normal last night on 100% Footy.

To whit, I'd say a deal has been done with another club. It could well be us.

I admire the hell out of DCE, the oldest player in the comp playing like a much younger man. He is probably still playing as well as he ever has.

Just did the same. For a while this site on safari on both Mac and iPhone didn’t work, only showing a white background with text and I couldn’t log in. Funnily enough the website still works on my old iPhone, which is where I’ve been posting on.

I think iv seen some glimpses of Sandon Smith this year to say he is the one to partner Sam Walker going forward.
People are quick to dismiss Sandon. I know he has played over thirty games, but most of these have been off the bench for a short stint. This is the first time he has been given the reins as a first choice half. He has pace, his defence is quite good. Just needs to improve on his decision making (did well against Penrith) and also crowds other players when with the ball. I reckon he’ll be much better as the season goes on.

That being said, I think DCE would be a great pickup. I worry about his defence though as that was never his strong point and he is only getting older.

Stick with the long term plan of internal development - Sam Walker and Sandon Smith as the halves - except switch them around - Sandon 7 and Sam 6

DCE would be a great signing....

Big game player, brings a tonne of experience, over 300 games, Premiership Winner, well spoken & articulate, cool calm head.

If he wants to stay in Sydney then he must be a priority signing.

Sandon can play off the bench...it would only be 2yrs & he would gain so much of DCE in that time.

Hmmmm...37 next year but IF it's 1 year with the option of 2 then I'd take him as a good study for Sammy.

Don't think he'll go the porpoises.

Could be another Cronk repeat. Robson, DCE, Sammy and Teddy...not to shabby a spine.

For what it's worth the Daily Telegraph says we're the favourites to get him on a 2 year deal. Hopefully not just rumours.
