Why round 13 - under the NRL rules back then players had up to the end of round 13 to change their minds/ back flip on any contract signed.

For me it is a big no. Why would we invest a $1m
plus for an ageing player , sounds like a band aid solution to me. When we signed Cronk our team was primed to win the comp and Cronk was the missing piece in the puzzle. Adding DCE to a side that is in rebuild is not the answer . Give the reins to Sammy

Listening to Brandon Smith on his podcast, when discussing the possibility of Daly joining the Roosters, Brandon said that DCE makes any team he joins better.
When posed with the question, the team that Daly is at is better than the Roosters? Cheese said “at the moment, yeah”
I wonder how that went down training?

Nah… Not sure the juice is worth the squeeze. Very very good player but great player who leads this team to a comp inside 2 seasons? im not sure - he’s not done it with arguably a better squad in a decade.
Wouldn’t complain but not convinced.

Good article on Toby Rodwell for anyone interested..
As mentioned by others on here previously,if we manage to sign DCE then Rodwell will be one of the main beneficiaries..
