This team will be a bit bipolar for at least the first half of the season. Expect quite a lot of ups & downs, especially until Walker returns.
We have plenty of talent but are lacking experience. After the high of last week, and travelling across the ditch for this game, the odds were in favour of us having a down night.
If we can bolster our bench with some effective middles we will win a lot more of those kinds of games. I expected Losalu to come in for Foketi. Once Lindsay pulled out we were weak on the bench for middle forwards. Maketoa is largely ineffective.

Rob T just needs to be more patient.

rotten luck to loose Collins, and both Vaa bros so early on as well as butchers
doesn’t help when we let middles go either

More credit should go to the Warriors.
After they got done easily by Canberra & most pundits writing them off as a bottom tier team this year, they have taken down a high scoring Manly & Roosters teams from the week before.
The Chooks had a decent crack & weren't disgraced. Thats the main thing.
Onto next week.

As much as I love the romanticism of a Easts junior playing first grade, if it comes at a disservice to the overall team, it’s not worthy. Playing against the big Warriors, you know what you’re getting, and we needed an extra big to ease the load. As much as Hugo would love playin NRL, they should be giving him every chance to succeed, both personally and for the betterment of the team.
Next week against the Tits, who also have a giant pack, I’d expect a bigger bench to match them

Not sure what you have against Dom Young, and I am getting bad vibes about it, as you don't nit-pick other players the same way, and you seem to have some infatuation with Dom Young for whatever reason that is.
What I never see you do though is criticise players or the team, you're usually labelling people as fake fans or fair weathered for such things. I just think it's odd timing, that's all. But hey I hope you continue, certainly great to see you posting your own thoughts for a change.
I also know what you're trying to insinuate with the vibes comment and it's not appreciated, you shouldn't make such flippant comments on the back of some lazy analysis of correlation.

why have a back up half when you allready have a utility
losalu or Roberts could have been used better

When Robbo was asked about Roger doing his hammy and still making that tackle on Dom Young and he said "that's the Rooster in him".... I thought he meant picking up an injuryGeez it's been a lean few years on the injury front...
