Same old problems that we have seen week in week out for too long

Our constant errors and not getting to respect possession is bloody frustrating for me and surely can be addressed.

Poor completion rates are not what better sides do.

Our luck with injury is a bastard as well.

I don't mind Savala as a roaming lock role which is where he came on and played but that just wasn't the type of game where a roaming lock is going to come on and excel. It just never opened up.

Yeh the Fox commentary is getting bad. Probably going to start watching Nine over Fox this year when both are available and I can't remember the last time I would've done that...

There was a moment early on where Crichton was called for a forward pass and you can hear Marky Mark tell Tedesco to challenge as he thought it was a knock on call. Tedesco asks Klein to challenge the knock on which he clarifies we can't because the forward pass call was made first.

15seconds later we are watching a replay and Smith goes you can see Marky Mark telling his team mates to challenge but the Roosters decide to ignore him. A complete rewriting of what just happened.

I know it's minimal but a core function of the commentators role is to provide context and information the watcher at home doesn't have at home. But it feels like these days that we are more informed than the Fox team who no longer do the games from the stadium but instead from a studio back in Sydney.

Aussie sports commentary is pathetic. I picked up on Smiths comments last night and is indicative of my opening comment.
As for the Roosters I was proud of how they played as a team. No complaining from me about mistakes etc it was the effort with circumstances of being a man down and a missed try the outcome likely different. Having Watson, Cheese Smith and Walker speed and guile in the last 20 would have made a huge difference. The forwards without Collins and N Butcher were just fine.

Not that I would get you to do this because you would be wasting time in your life but if you went & red the farkwits pasts posts you would see that it adds no football input, none, zero.
All the farkwit does is come on here with low rent comments towards other posters on here that it implies is not a Rooster supporter. The farkwit has mental problems, Im serious.

He's not at the ground, he's calling the game in the studio off the TV in Sydney with Blocker, so Fox can save money. A forgivable error involving a low profile bench player on a dark wet night in NZ, I would have thought. He's still the best caller on any network by a country mile. The girl they did have on the touchline in NZ offered nothing.

Warren Smith is the best. I like Brenton Speed as well. Cameron Smith does say some good things. Laura Pitt is good.

How many times can a commentator / co-commentator say a team is " up and about " ?? - up in the sky / about the town ??

I think toia deserves another chance next week - he was find in defence and okay in attack apart from the handling errors - one was teddys bad pass - if he isn’t there next week then bring Billy back

Billy smith needs more game time - only 2 games so far in the cup

such a shame on Marky N that would have been a brilliant try

I worry if we move Marky Mark we lose one of the few attacking outlets we have at the moment. Everything promising we did in attack last night happened around him.

Mickie son, Mark Mark is a freak athlete who could quite easily transition to right wing.

I have no faith in Young! I don't think he'll ever perfect his defensive reads and his yardage game is bog average.

Billy is a specialist left centre and a very good one when fit.

Toia should get as much game time during this rebuild year. That lad is going to be a star of the game!

speed's the man. there's less ego than with the others, less 'personality'. the caller's job is to call the game, not get wrapped up in i don't know what. the bloke who called us v penrith is awful, how could he have thought to-o had scored at the end? maybe he was looking in a mirror or something.
