Agreed, thought he was excellent, not overdoing it and gassing himself out but still having lots of strong carries and really good work in defence. Reckon if we just kept playing to Whyte and Leniu in good ball instead of constantly trying to go around them we would've won that game.

I used to love Warren Smith but his commentary has taken a nose dive, hope he's doing ok.

We missed Connor bigtime, people underestimate what he brings to the team. ZDC tried hard credit due. Won't be surprised if Billy comes in for Rob next week.

a game we should have won. if not for a couple of mistakes on our left our defence might have covered our poor attack. throwing the ball over the sideline on zero tackle shows that even champions can get it wrong.
too many errors and not having connor didn't help.
not unexpected - it's early days for this team - but if billy smith had a good game it might be an idea to give rob toia a stint in reserves

3. Rads - made 180mtr in only 60 min - certainly get the most out of rads back at 13
2. Whyte and Leniu - killed it when they were on - unfortunately our lack of props coming off the bench hurt us - not sure what the purpose of savala was?
1. Angus was solid - that’s about where it ends

boys lost it themselves with penalties and errors

toops made big mtrs but 2 poor decisions bombed tries, toia will be back but his errors, Wong and sandon errors in the 2nd half killed us plus missing young in the first half twice in space
Marky mark was so close to a great try
8 errors with the back 5 wasn’t good enough tonight

warriors were boring but played to the conditions - we havnt learnt anything about patience or how to hold the ball

I thought Tedesco, Mark N, Townsend, Leniu, Whyte and Watson were probably our best on field. Dom Young seemed to be improving as well. Unfortunately this week it seemed like most of the young players letting us down, it was very sad to see two guys in their thirties (Teddy and Townsend) trying to steer us home whilst Sandon Smith and Toia were rushing things and almost completely ineffective.

Bummed about the result but happy with the effort. We havent hung around in a grind like that for several years.

I think a lot of teams are gonna struggle against NZ this year, especially in NZ.

You always want your team to win. However if they have a fair dinkum crack and lose, well so be it.

We are on the way up. Yes it will be a tough year. It is important to beat the Titans next week.

Look proud of the boys effort but I thought our intent effort while the frantic chaos the the last line of play was a slightest bit off tonight but we will bounce back as that's the Roosters way .Oh wait that was week 1

Warriors won because they bored us to death, they aren't going far with that type of attack.

Those are the tough games that are not pretty that you win on determination and grit and get through the grind

We're lacking Sammy Walker's spark! Sammy plays we win tonight!

I'd like to see Gus step up and show some leadership when it's required. He's now a seasoned campaigner!

Oh O8 !!!! I tend to agree I find it disappointing that the only reason we lost the game was due to there discipline and patience being better than ours

Stupid errors cost us the game. Don’t see what difference Leniu and rads made.

Spencer was excellent. . Whyte too.

Townsend was also very good but we miss Sam Walker in attack
