Those rules didn't apply if your parents were immigrants from Southern Italy. My brothers and i were shit scared of putting a foot wrong- or woooosshhkka we would cop belting! I remember going to a old fashion shoe shop with my brother to get school shoes. The store owner offered us a lollie- i knew dads rules very well about not accepting food or drinks from anyone in public and said " no thank you sir"....my bro took the lollie. Lets just say he never made that mistake again!

Under the Reggie Rabbit suit is a 80 year old by the name of Gallico- a good Italian surname- maybe he has rules about kids misbehaving in public too! By the look of the footage the kid put his hand out to embrace Reg, who probably mistook the action as being aggressive and pushed him away. In all it was a non event

If the dude in the Reggie Rabbit suit was named Abdul Razzaq he would have been branded anti-semetic and Dutton would have ordered a press conference with 1 Sky News reporter and said the Sharks supporters were living in fear thanks to the governments weak actions in preventing the attack and called for the PM to stand down for being complicit as he is a Souths supporter!

Fawlty Towers: I don't like the chips

Were you the chalkie that canned students at the schools you worked at back in the day ? It's 2025, not 1925 or 1825 etc. - No playground detention anymore either - i.e. pick up litter and what not -or 100 lines that you must bring, whatever it was that you forgot to bring to school.

So you don't think punishment for non compliance is a good thing Sal? True most of those things have gone unfortunately. I caned but times have changed. As a student at school I'd go from fighting sailors down at the 'Loo on Friday night to getting four of the best from Brother Salvius on Monday morning and I copped it. These days it would be very risky putting the stick about. Research shows that a high school of 1000 would have around 40 students that are PTSD affected from family experience. Those are the problems, often explosive and volatile. Yes I was one of those teachers.

Well, that's certainly a different perspective on Reggiegate. We'll take that as a comment.

Especially when Abdul Razzaq is a former Pakistan Test/ODI/T20 Cricketer and now Assistant Coach of the Pakistan National Side

From the Vault: Razzaq takes down McGrath five times in a row

Haha...I don't know whether Randumb knew that or just picked the first Arabic name swirling around in his head.

Reggie has made a public apology and confirmed that the kid did absolutely nothing wrong. I suspect it was just an angry old man lashing out in the way that angry old men often do - indiscriminately and without thinking.

The moron denies and makes light of anti-Semitism. What a creature he must be.
